Coach Bio
Brandie Row
Recruiting Coordinator/Pitching Coach
Hometown: Midland, TX

Brandie Row begins her third season as the pitching coach/recruiting coordinator for the Odessa College Softball program. She is a recent graduate of Tarleton State University where she was a four-year letter winner for the Tarleton State Softball team. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Studies in 2004 and graduated as a member of Phi Epsilon Kappa. Coach “B” is originally from Midland, TX where she attended Robert E. Lee High School and was also a four-year letter winner.

At Tarleton State, Brandie received numerous Lone Star Conference honors over her career for both pitcher and third base. She carried a career batting average of over .315 and a career ERA under 2.00. Her fielding average was above .950 as a third basemen.

In her first 2 seasons with the Odessa College softball program, she has helped lead the Wranglers to their first WJCAC title in school history, a second Regional V West title on route to a second straight trip to the National tournament. As the Wranglers pitching coach, Coach B’s pitchers own school records in Team ERA, individual ERA, and strike outs. She also helped produce a 2nd team NJCAA All-American and an NFCA 1st team All-American, a huge accomplishment for such a young coach.

Brandie’s second year with the Wranglers was met with the challenge of a pitching staff that consisted of 4 freshmen. With that Coach Prickett had this to say, “Although I knew that Coach B was an excellent fundamentalist, she really showed the strength she has in teaching the mental part of the game. With such a young staff she did an incredible job.”  The pitching staff finished the season with 43 wins, second best in school history, with two of the pitchers earning All-conference and All-Region honors.  Both will be returning this season.

Brandie has also played a vital role in establishing an on-campus bible study and is working hand and hand with Coach Prickett to start an FCA Huddle group for the Odessa College athletes, a venture she is very dedicated to and excited about.

She is the daughter of Janie Hill and Doyce Row and proud granddaughter of Jim and Anita Silvers of Midland.
