| Coach Torrez is excited about the
Women’s Cross-Country team at Odessa College. This
is the third season for Odessa College to field
a women’s cross country team. Paramo’s
experience should pay dividends this year. Paramo
helped the 2008 squad finish 3rd at the Region
V Championships last fall. Odessa College
finished behind perennial powers El Paso Community
College and South Plains College. Munoz and
Johnson were a part of a district championship
during their senior year at Permian. Johnson
was the district 2-5A champion. The Lady
Panthers finished 3rd at the Region I-5A meet and
qualified for the 5A State Championship meet. |
