After a subpar finish last week at the Region 5 Championship, the Odessa Men's Golf team won the 2025 South Central District Championship at The Hideout in Brownwood, TX.

The Wranglers shot 13 under par (-13) over 54 holes to win the event by seven shots over Midland College (-6). Those two teams were the only teams to shoot under par at the tournament.

As a team, Odessa had the low round in all three rounds. They shot +2 in the first round and then shot under par the rest of the way, eight under in round two and seven under in round three. The eight under score in round two was the lowest of the tournament.

Individually, Chase Williams and Adam Bresnu tied for second at seven under (-7) par. Dian Wilmont placed fifth at three under (-3) and Reda El Hali placed 16^th at five over (+5).

With the win, Odessa qualifies for the 2025 NJCAA D1 Men's Golf National Championship at Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS May 13^th through the 16^th.
