MATCH PREVIEW:
The Odessa College Volleyball team will open play at the 2025 NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championship on Wednesday, November 19^th as they take on Blinn College.

First serve of the First-Round matchup between the Wranglers and Buccaneers is scheduled for 4:00pm.

Odessa is the #8 seed and Blinn is the #9 seed in the 16-team field double-elimination tournament that plays out through ninth place.

This will be the second time the two teams will face each other this season. Blinn defeated Odessa in five-sets back in August at the Kruse Kickoff Classic in Brenham, TX.

With a win, the Wranglers will advance to the quarterfinals to face the winner of #1 Miami Dade vs. #16 Indian Hills on Thursday at 7:00pm. With a loss, Odessa would face the loser of that same match at 10:00am on Thursday.

RETURN TO CLARKSVILLE:
The Wranglers will be returning to Clarksville, TN for the second consecutive year to compete at the National Tournament and this will be the third year in a row that Odessa has made the National Tournament.

WRANGLERS AT THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT:
This will be the fifth time in program history that Odessa will play in the National Tournament 2019, 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025.

REGION 5 TEAMS:
Four teams from Region 5 are in this year's field. #8 Odessa is joined by #2 Weatherford College, #10 New Mexico Military Institute, and #11 Frank Phillips College.

FAMILIAR FOES:
Odessa has faced half of the 16 teams in this year's National Tournament. Odessa was 9-3 in matches against #2 Weatherford (0-1), #4 Northeastern (CO 1-0), #5 Barton (KS 1-0), #9 Blinn (0-1), #10 NMMI (2-0), #11 FPC (2-1), #13 Eastern Arizona (2-0), and #15 Casper (WY 1-0).

TOURNAMENT DATES:
The 2025 NJCAA D1 Volleyball National Tournament runs from Wednesday, November 19^th through Saturday, November 22^nd.
